Puhera WooCommerce Integration
The Puhera WooCommerce integration connects your WordPress-based WooCommerce store to your AI chatbot through an MCP connection. The bot answers product questions from store data, recommends suitable products and looks up order status, while also drawing on your site's pages and blog posts from the knowledge base, with sources cited. It takes no code and is included on the Pro and Enterprise plans.

Why is a WooCommerce chatbot different?
Because WooCommerce runs on WordPress, these stores usually carry a lot of content next to the products: how-to guides, size charts, blog posts, shipping and returns pages. A good chatbot has to use both.
When a shopper hesitates on a product page, the question is often not about the product itself but about how to use it, which size to pick or when it will arrive. Those answers already live on your site; the job is to surface the right one at the right moment.
Puhera handles this in two layers. The knowledge base crawls your website, learns your pages and posts, and cites the source in its answers. The WooCommerce integration gives access to product and order data. In one chat window, a shopper gets an answer to "how do I use this?" and to "where is my order?"
How does the integration work over MCP?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open protocol that gives AI applications a standard way to connect to external tools and data sources. Puhera uses it to connect to your WooCommerce store.
When you set up the connection you authorize access to your store, then choose which actions the bot may take. During a conversation the bot uses only those actions. For a fuller walkthrough, see the WooCommerce chatbot setup guide.
Which questions does it handle before and after a sale?
Take a WooCommerce store selling outdoor gear. The bot steps in at different points of the shopping journey:
Before the purchase
- "I need a light two-person tent. What would you suggest?" gets product recommendations from store data.
- Product questions such as "What are the dimensions of this sleeping pad?" get direct answers.
- Visitors asking about bulk or business orders leave their contact details through a lead form (on Pro).
After the purchase
- "Has my order shipped?" is answered with order lookup.
- Content such as the tent's setup guide is shared from the knowledge base, with its source.
- Returns or damaged items are handed off to a live agent.
Read how order questions are automated on the order tracking chatbot page, and how quote requests are collected on the lead capture chatbot page.
How are your data and site protected?
- You choose which actions the bot may take, and that choice governs access to order data.
- Domain restriction and embed-origin protection keep the embed script working only on domains you allow.
- Role-based access (Owner / Admin / Editor / Viewer) and token-based API security keep management under control.
- Visitor blocking is available if someone misuses the chat.

Which plan includes the Puhera WooCommerce integration?
The WooCommerce integration is on the Pro and Enterprise plans, together with the Shopify and T-Soft integrations.
How do I add the chatbot to my WordPress site?
Puhera gives you an embed script; once it is on your site, the chatbot is live. You can also share it with a public link.
Will the bot know my blog posts and pages?
Yes. Website crawling adds your pages and posts to the knowledge base, and the bot cites the source when it answers from them.
Can it look up WooCommerce order status?
Yes. Once you allow order lookup, the bot answers order status questions from your store data.
Can I try the integration before buying?
Yes. You can try Puhera free for 7 days without a credit card. The trial has some limits, and you are not charged unless you pick a plan.
